Welcome to the Judges Page

Judges play key roles in officiating during the Quiz Bowl Tournament. Judges are either time keepers or score keepers. They also provide important consultation with the Quiz Master on making decisions regarding play.

If you have agreed to officiate, it is extremely important that you secure time from work and arrange your personal schedule to be here on the days of the tournament that you are needed. Without you, we can't hold a tournament.

Communication is vital in organizing Quiz Bowl. Email is our primary method of communication with Officials. If you don't get an occasional message from us, you may need to contact us to verify that we have your correct email address. Please feel free to write Chuck Estep at: chuck.estep@monroeisd.us and let us know who you are; which school you are working with; and what your email address and telephone number is so that we may check on your information. Additionally, it is helpful if you put the words, "QUIZ BOWL" in the subject line of your email message.

Be sure to scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN on this page to view all of the items on this page. You can click on these items to view the information that will help you perform as a Judge during our annual Quiz Bowl event.
